Mood Disorders Ottawa

MDO is a registered, nonprofit volunteer-run organization
that supports people with mood disorders and their loved ones.

Peer Support Group

A bimonthly peer support group, for adults 18+ with mood disorders.   Please join us for a friendly, confidential discussion of mood disorder-related topics.  The group meets every second and fourth Tuesday of each month, and the Wednesday of the in-between week,  at 1355 Bank Street, 4th floor (follow the signs), from 7:15-9:15 pm.  In other words, every 2nd & 4th Tuesday plus the 3rd Wednesday unless the month begins on a Wednesday in which case we meet the 4th Wednesday. See calendar for exact meeting dates.

You do not need to be a member to attend these informal gatherings, however we hope you will choose to support MDO.

We ask that participants try their best to arrive before 7:15, so as not to disrupt the flow of the meetings.

Family Support Group

A monthly family support group for adult relatives and friends of people with mood disorders.  Discussions are friendly and confidential.   The group meets on the third Thursday of each month ( December and July)  from 7:00-9:00 pm at the Orleans United Church, 1111 Orleans Blvd. (at Fortune Blvd.).
